This is  perspective shot take from my sketch up model on AD109. With in this renovated church i have created an open spaced living area with  a great source of natural light being received from the dinning room wall windows. I have used signature colours through out the interior making everything compatible and creating a unique style to the property.

Above is the open spaced living area over looking from the front door with visibility and in clear reference towards my aimed living plan.  I have included a wall barrier separating the stair and balcony area and also to accommodate a modern fire place frame.

This is my kitchen area combined with a breakfast area adjacent to the dinning room area.
I have used a concrete floor to represent the gothic appeal to the building and this also creates a urban, industrial and modern twist to this family home.

The master bedroom is spread out over the whole width of the property taken full advantage of the area provided. I have converted selected exterior walls and converted these into glass walls as to gain natural light and fantastic landscape views of the surrounding country side.

Throughout the course of my higher education I have been influenced by many different concepts and styles. I was most impressed with the techniques and ideas put forward by David Fisher in charge of a vastly and on gong projects which consist of a new architecture known as Dynamic architecture. These buildings as well as creating a modern and futuristic individual aesthetic also have created an innovative way of providing power to these uniquely designed buildings. As these buildings rotate fans and turbines in between each level of the tower spin in reaction to the wind. These turbines then create power transmitted to a power generator which provides energy and electricity for all uses of the building.

Finding alternate ways of living with ecologically friendly inputs I found these bubble homes. Created on a very low expense these homes use the outer shell to create heat and insulation with out the use of running electricity or water. They represent a smooth, futuristic and modern way of housing and these particular bubble homes are used as temporary outhouses and summer homes, although I feel they are capable of being used on a higher scale.
Browsing the internet i found this humours public toilet. Not a widely constructive idea and more of a one of novelty concept this toilet is built with in four walls with the occupier being able to see out and the public only being able to see a mirror image.

When reading a metro newspaper I came across an article in relation to this picture. Its is a fully recyclable car, fully functional and made out of bamboo. I admire this ecologically  friendly outlook on design and feel this could be converted into some form of architectural design. For instance a fully recyclable home which could fold and become transportive depending on the occupiers desired destination.

I really admire the simplicity and open spaced layout of this room. Using minimal colours and shapes of furnishings it creates personality and class to this modern home. I have used this example of a contemporary living space as influence towards an on going project.

While doing some research on potential influences and design techniques I could incorporate into my own designs I found this picture of a church interior. With a white canvas balcony, modern interior furnishings and restored windows these are similar qualitys and design process' I hope to reflect in my own layouts.

"For an ongoing project I was inspired by an episode of Restoration man in which a church is renovated into a family home. With this being my task at hand the programme offers a great deal of influence and ideas which i could alternate into my own design ideas. I hope to create a modern home with original features, restored and brought up to date. By doing this it also reflects its original Gothic and medieval feel. One of the ideas I have had is have revealed brick work. I would do this through  the interior of the property with the use of canvas styled dividing walls which would reflect light in and around the building."

The URL address below is a direct link to the episode which has inspired my possible design outcomes.

I appreciate the simplicity and smoothness in the way in this dinning chair has been designed. With a contemporary and urban style its easily flexible when determining what surroundings and situations it may be placed in. I will use this chair and alter and add my own techniques and ideas to reflect my desired themes.

Tron interior

"I admire the way in which light has been offered through out the perimeter of this room through the floor panels. The mix of slate with translucent floor tiles works well and gives and inspirational effect towards developments in my own ideas."

"This is another perspective shot taken from the film TRON Legacy. I like the futuristic textures and materials mixed with a classical feel, for instance the glass chandeliers and ornaments. I will be considering using these techniques and individuality in design towards creating my own work which may reflect the same unique effects."

NYC park

This is a development called High Line in New York City.

"By mixing the industrial and hectic New York City life with that of a natural surrounding can give in insight on the views of peoples perceptions on the development in design techniques from past to present and what the future may hold.
I appreciate the way in which the industry has developed and constructed their ideas to involve the old rail way track to preserve a part of history of New York. I further appreciate how they have created this increasingly attractive project to reflect and be that of a natural Eco friendly source of design and architecture."

A development taken from Active rain an interior and exterior design industry situated in Arizona.

"I admire this urban design and could take influences and design techniques to create my own development ideas. By using glass and translucent solid materials to create the shell of the building this not only offers good insulation but also provides a good source of natural light through out the property. With the height of the location of the building and the use of glass for the walls it also offers an excellent view of the surrounding landscapes."
